When Hissa met her Fishnose didn't have a name so Hissa used to call her all sorts of different names.

Untill one day when the two of them went fishing by hand in the nearby river to contribute their share to the kobold village, both being quite adept at it, and while fishing a fish decided to bite Fishnose on the nose and not let go much to Hissa's amusement as Fishnose remained indifferent about it for a good half hour before finally seeming to notice the fish.

So since that day Hissa would regularly call her Fishnose and the name just stuck.
