Jonah is a handyman, working hard to stay afloat financially. A job made more difficult after a failed marriage and several relationships leaving his three daughters in his care. He works long days and much overtime to make sure his girls can have anything they want, and somehow trying to find enough free time to spend time with them.

In his younger days he was a promising actor, having had a few small roles and about to move up in his career, and meeting his first wife on the set. who turned out to just be using him to further her own acting career and destroy his in the process. And when their child was born she justy dumped the child on him to run off with a big shot actor.

His second relationship wasn't much better as he ended up with another gold digger who left him nearly broke after she became pregnant and left another child in his care. A number of following relationships didn't take off either for various reasons untill he met Caroline. She seemed to be the one for him, even got along wonderfully with his daughters...Alas it wasn't to be as she passed away not long before they were going to get married. Ever since then he has given up on finding love and devotes his time to the only women in his life who matter to him, his daughters.
