Secrets of the Royal Archives
This is a sketch TF commission for 
Artherion featuring him as he has just finished turning into a quite huge black dragon while he was exploring/visiting the royal archives to uncover its hidden treasures.
"It seemed like this ancient big sapphire was not just a shiny gemstone... Thankfully the Archives' stone walls and arcades were of stupendous proportions, but there still was not enough room for all the stored books and knowledges and one dragon in there.. As the change got closer to completion, the freshly transformed dragon could feel the magic leave his massive body.
The discomfort caused by his uptight wings pressing against the stone arcades and his tail being stuck into awkward angles was making things worse. Each move was difficult and causing more destruction. Not only was he totally trapped in a body he wasn't used to at all, but he was also unable to spot any possible escape. Soon enough though, in the middle of this incredible mess, he could hear the archivist who were coming back. No way one could have missed the noise of collapsing books and shelves. A quick glance at the sapphire made him understand that whatever it was, the magic that had changed him hadn't returned to the cracked gemstone lying on the ground. It was simply gone, and so was his chance to revert the spell.
He had to think fast. Really fast. He had heard about what the archivist could do to people causing trouble in her tidy place. Not sure being a dragon was going to change anything."

Quite the secret in that archive. Shame about the archive itself, though, Better come up with a way to deal with the archivist quickly, though, or he's going to be in a lot of trouble! (Even beyond the trouble that normally goes with unexpectedly becoming a large dragon.)
It doesn't seem like there's any way he could get out, even with the angriest archivist in the building yelling profanities at him. Unless she's got something that'll shrink him down to something more manageable. A pocket-sized dragon would probably make a good library assistant, no?
