Decided awhile ago to make a new icon and finally had a day to color!
So here is Delta in harem fashion with what could be wine, is likely loose leaf cold tea. As a personal human touch to my persona meets fursona, I generally have batches of tea combos in the fridge, my hummingbird human tea XD

You are very welcome! I believe you did a great job, it has plenty of details to be interesting but not too much to be overwhelming for an icon =). Simple is nice, I've been having a lot of fun with minimalist drawings but being detailed is better I think if you want to advertise your lovely style c:
A smol question about avian characters, do you prefer to have wings and arms drawn separate or merged into one thing?

I am on the fence with the arm thing. I like the angel anime look because of accessory and ability to fudge anatomy when lazy, but I also like the arm wings too. I don't like wing hands too much made from feathers unless its feral cute animation or something. If I ever made a suit I likely would make arm style wings but have claw hands.
Delta was a gryphon but with avian tail then avian feet, then all that is left of that is she has ears and body fur. So some wing preference is because I like the look of the body type plus appendage.
I want to practice minimalism mainly to stop over rendering but honestly, detail just fits who I am. I am an elephant for detail XD

I see your points, so it pretty much depends on the character being displayed and the objective you are aiming for ^^;, thanks for answering. The character I plan on drawing is a blue heron, I am tempted to follow the "wing as hand" but with fingers and claws so the character can actually hold something if necessary xD.
If details are what you've been up to just get them done ;3, minimalism is fun but nothing beats a skillful display of details, you are doing a great job with your latest drawings =)
