"Photo-Op: View From Top of Freedom Tower, NYC / 6-23-17"
Continuing my final edition of "Throwback Thursday" for the last day of August, 2017, I have one more 'photo-op' from lower Manhattan (where my brother Glenn and I took a walking tour of this major borough of New York City), wrapping things up with a view from the Observation Deck, near the top of the Freedom Tower...
Taken close to sunset (with my disposable camera), this is a northern view of the NYC skyline. If you will carefully notice, slightly to the left of the Empire State Building are two bright specks of lights. They happen to come from the multitude of LCD advertising signs that illuminate Times Square...
In other words, instead of taking the subway from Times Square, Glenn and I walked all that way south (taking in other above-ground sites), culminating with our visit to said Freedom Tower! Now that was a long walk!
For a more thorough description of our stroll through Manhattan, go to my journal "Return to New York" Part Three - https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/8294880/ - and read all about it.
