So it was either the first or second night of Megaplex where I heard a group of people pass by our room and very clearly mention something about one of my favorite fursuiters; Majira Strawberry. For those of you who think I'm a well adjusted and functioning member of society, allow me to shatter that delusion once and for all. Like a Psychopath I rush my door and swing it open, in a muscle shirt and with badly disheveled hair just as the group passed and sprung out like a prairie dog who'd had a fire cracker put in his tunnel, and rapidly burp out something nearly beyond understanding in a rapid tone, eyeing the group with large no doubt insane looking eyes to the effect of "DID YOU SAY MAJIRA IS HERE!?!" Obviously, with such a breath taking first impression, the group's only recourse was to look at me appropriately horrified in consideration that the long haired weirdo with his head hanging out the door might be considering eating them or something else equally crazy like that, and a very familiar sounding voice of a tall fellow replies back "...no?" before the awkward interaction ends and I apologize and slunk back into the room. Not but a night later, I hear a rat tat tatting upon the door and open the door to see non other than one of my top five favorite furry youtubers before my threshold. He explains that he was heading back to his room as he was quite tired, figured he'd pop over because I had been so excited to meet him, and it was in fact him from the other night and he was just goofing me to see if I'd buy it. I asked him if he wouldn't mind staying at my door while I ran back inside and grabbed my phone to take his photograph, to which he happily complied. However, much to my surprise, upon my return to the door and subsequent opening, the big berry scented goof left himself into the room and playfully began snatching up bits and bobs proclaiming them to be his now. Quelling his outburst of kleptomania, native to all adorable furry fellows and lasses, I got him to remain still for a few pictures. It was one of the happiest moments at the convention for me and I thank Majira very deeply for humoring me. It was a wonderful convention and it's only cemented in my mind that Majira is one of the best entertainers and personalities in the fandom!

And then I promptly ruined the moment by taking a picture with my haunting mug in it >.>
