That was a sad arc in the comic. Watching it in animation wasn't any easier for this emotional Irishman.

Wow, that doesn't just hit the feels for Paria's story. Eponine's story was one of the more touching parts that hit close to home for me as well.

Given the few character bios I've read, (since so few were brought up thus far in the colored version and I know this sounds stingy but I might keep to the colored version for now as it is worked on), and the fact you did "A Little fall of Rain" from Les Mis and "It's Over Isn't it" from Steven Universe, (both lovely songs).

I would not be surprised, (I would enjoy it very much in fact), if you ended up doing an animatic of another pair of your characters singing "Someday" from Disney's Hunchback Notre Dame stage musical. <3

(If you need better context of when in the story the song is set, it's basically in the last few scenes of Act 2, when Esmerelda is sentenced to burning; Phoebus is in prison with her I believe for a previous scene in which he was told to burn a "gypsy" homestead but disobeyed orders from Frollo.)

For the $1 tier you get access to a discord both I and my co-creator are a part of and the ability to discuss the comic's plot in a more central location. I have a feeling I'd only be able to do $1 a month which is a bit of a pity cause I'm curious what animatics, (beyond what's available here or on YouTube from you), you have done; maybe more Broadway or TV show songs that are lovely. <3

I think I'm gonna pass on Patreon; tempting or nice as it would be to converse with you or others on the comic, I binged maybe just over a hundred of the sketched pages on Sunday and my mind did not take it well the first day or so after the binge....but considering how many pages there are, it will be a LONG while before I catch up to even remotely relevant topics regarding the comic I think...even if I binge like I did.

And in case you need a reference point I'm still at a page 5 years ago where Cobalt begged for mercy by Overlord Fox and is now in her medical ward, healing up, worried he might die from the illness at the least.

you're still very much in the pages before my co-writer started helping more prominatnly. The story defnately gets better (and better written) but don't worry, take your time. I'm not going anywhere and neither is the story c:

Yeah but from what I can gather given those uploads I noticed, (but didn't read), yesterday, the story is still going so...yeesh.

And the story is written fine from what I can tell, in fact your sketches and characters inspired me in a few ways.

1, Titan's "fear of death through brute violence" methods, (among other characters like Hector), made me think up a D&D character that has no fear of death but isn't an idiot; and she simply spawned from the idea that, were it not for the fear of death, individuals like Titan would get bored easily, cause nobody would fear his killings and he would be overpowered in time.

2, your diverse but clear and simple-enough facial expressions helped me try my luck at sketching a particular expression for a short comic page I did for my fur-brother 2 days ago, (bear in mind I do not draw often and I SUCK at it). In case you're wondering which face, it's the one where Bane is asking Fox to make puppy better. (Don't worry with my lack of skill the face doesn't look like an exact replica of Bane, anyway)

YEEAAAH well it's kind of over 2000 pages long at this point... and it updates every day on the website. And we still haven't finished writing it and it's about um... we're 4 years ahead writing it. I did not expect, in my lifetime, to write my own Iliad and Odessy and yet here we are >_>.

Forget Iliad and Odyssey, this is like your own Canterbury Tales or Divine Comedy.

Also, I'm now at Contingency, (the arc after we find out how good a moonshiner Cobalt is that even Hector is dumbfounded)

hahah You'll be in good company I promise. And we're always willing to help new readers and of course show it off to your friends. The premium content is mostly there in case people want more than what I provide online for free but I've always been a firm beleiver in putting the bulk of my work out there for everyone to enjoy c: Basically it all goes to help support my continued work since I do commissions for a living, this project is one of the few personal outlets I can get.

And considering I'm reading the comic on here as is, UNLESS for some reason I need to look at Character bios again, Idk if I'll be going to the site when I've got here to read, though I will admit, thinking of the simple yet expressive designs and expressions of your characters does make me feel tempted to try and sketch out some poses of actual or theoretical ones, but put my characters in them.

In short...your art is a little inspiring to me.

On second thought with stuff like this I would prefer conversing with someone and in short geeking out over the story but none of my friends to my knowledge have even remotely read this so...maybe in the next few days, expect me to become a $1 patron.
