I went on an epic road trip into the path of totality of the eclipse last week.

I had my cion camera, on the right, with a 10 stop and 3 stop filter. Thats where the two inset images came from. They are MEH, the longest lens I have for it is 50mm, so lots of cropping.

On the left, I have my arri 16s camera. I have the Right lens for it, 400mm focal length, the sun pretty much fills the field of view, and a filter made out of mylar baloon material made by the previous owner of the camera, for a previous eclipse. I was unfortunately not able to get the arri pointed properly until after totality started. The filter was too dense to see if you were close, and the camera hit part of the tripod. I did put everything togather the weekend before... but not at 2:40 in the afternoon...

It will be a bit until I can get the 16mm processed, I need to shoot some more to get an order large enough to not piss off the lab. (So... anyone going to MFM this weekend?)
