A character I got from  NightCrestComics ... like a month ago, wow I've been slacking, anyway, I decided to call him Mako, and give him aquamancy, a werewolf who uses magic, I think that's a concept that's pretty underused, if used at all. Mako started off as a laidback lifeguard at the local swimming pool, until one day on his way back from the pool, it was late at night, and he got into a car crash which took his life, or it would have, had it not been for this strange old man passing by. The old man helped Mako out of his car, and rested him against a nearby wall, the old man revealed himself to be a talented mage, and told Mako he could save his life, but at a great cost, but being near death, and seeing no other options, Mako accepted his offer, whatever consequence might follow. The mage fired a bolt of magic energy at Mako, then shortly woke up, to find he had turned into a werewolf, the mage explained that in order to save him, he had to give him a new form, Mako was stuck as a werewolf for the rest of his life, although he was now more adept at magic himself, and could manipulate water. Mako decided to quit his job as a lifeguard, since no one would believe it was him, and he roamed the earth in search of a new purpose. For months he roamed, until he came across a guy who called him "Kat", at first Mako didn't trust him because Kat was robbing a zoo at the time, but Kat explained he was a trying to find a dog that wrongfully got locked up, and that belonged to this little girl, and take it back to her, and sure enough, he was telling the truth, Kat, and Mako managed to evade capture, and return the dog to its owner, and Kat offered Mako a place to stay, asking for his friendship, and help on future heists, Mako reluctantly agreed, and since then the two have been close friends, and Mako found his new calling, using his magic to help those in need, even if the aren't near the pool.
