So I've been stuck in a bit of an art block for awhile and i just hunkered down and this thing just kinda happened ;w;
This is different style I've been trying to come up with so lemme know what you think and if you would like something like this for yourself!
This is of a character I actually do not have a name for just yet! They are a masculine character and a chow-chow! All the fluff that was on them in their original adopt pic just screamed chow-chow to me and so they are ;w;

I like the look of this style you're going for. o3o The shading is pretty nice, and I like how the lines look. ^^ Only thing I'd be careful with is when you add the stroke around the picture. Strokes can be a bit tricky and can come out a little lumpy around sketchier lines, especially around that middle finger. Not a big thing at all, just a little something for extra polish. ^^
I also like the posing here! ^^ Overall gesture is nice, and the highlights are pretty sleek too. Love the kind of 'shiny' look they give off~
