This one was fun to make!!! We ate ours on a homemade BLT too!
Ingredients:
1 LB Thick Bacon
1/2 Cup Pure Maple Syrup (none of the corn syrup stuff)
1 Tsp Dijon Mustard
Ground Black Pepper
Instructions:
Place bacon on a tray and try not to overlap
In a small bowl combine the mustard and syrup and mix well
Spread over the bacon evenly
Bake at 400 degrees F for 12-15 mins
Take out of oven and flip all of the bacon over and cover this side with the mixture from before
Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the bacon is cooked
Once its done take it out and sprinkle it with the black pepper and let it rest for 5 minutes before you start eating
Enjoy!

Oh YEAH! You KNEW Vrghr would be by to fav this, didn't you? *GRIN*
SO YUMMY!
Wuff's never tried it with Dijon! Nice variation! Vrghr has added cajon or cayenne spice to the sweets though. Also good!
Now, for the REALLY decadent, over-the-top touch: When the bacon has cooled, melt a bit of chocolate bark and dip most of the bacon strip in the molten chocolate. Leave a bit of the end exposed for a "handle". Let the chocolate cool and - CHOCOLATE COVERED BACON CANDY!! *drools*
(Caution - be ready to catch Chris when he faints, if you publish that one! *laughs*)
