The year? Unknown. The galaxy? The Milky Way. Technology? Highly advanced. Space travel? Multi-system warping possible. Weaponry and defensive capabilities? Highly advanced. Populated planet in the galaxy? Unknown. Populated planet in the solar system? Seven. Police force? System-wide.
Most peoples were now unified, wars were small and rare due to the mutual understanding that there was far more danger after the first invasion. Now, much is remembered of the first invasion however as that was "ages" ago. Most of the current technology stemmed from remnants, captives and partially recovered technology from the invasion. But most of it originally was reverse engineered so it was incomplete, misunderstood and prone to failing. Though that was long ago and after reverse engineering so much for so long that technology eventually became separate from what it originally was. No longer "alien" in origin, it had evolved and changed to, it had been implemented into current tech and skyrocketed progress. Now in the current day, most of the planets in the solar system were populated, while people worked on making the others possible to live on. Space ships could no warp multiple systems and travel far faster than thought possible at one point. Trade routes extended massively, bringing an influx of rare and exotic materials. The police force was now a more efficient thing, the days of some calls being ignored nowhere near as relevant as it once was as there were ways to actually asses dangers, risks and the type of response needed.
Wistalia was a member of this new police force, an alien herself now living in this solar system. Having lived there long enough, learned much of the culture and wanting to protect the new friends and people she deemed family. She joined the force when she was young, relatively speaking. Many refereed to her species as dragons or demons, depending on who you asked. Her species had no name, at least in that system as she had found no translation close to what she was called. So she went with what others called her. She had no scales but flesh much like a human, but stripes of amethyst much like a tiger or zebra might. Her hair and eyes ere the same color as these stripes, hair falling to her mid-back when not up or cut. She hard strange "feather" like protrusions from the side of her head that she explained to be similar to the antennae of an insect. Horns came from the side of her skull, quickly changing direction to grow upwards, between them lay her ears. One arm was mechanical, the reason having never been disclosed by her, but it was like that when she arrived in the system.
Most of what she wore was simple and could be considered "revealing" though her culture clothes were worn for special occasions or as a uniform for certain types of work. She wore clothes, however "revealing" they may be considered as to blend in better and lessen the likely hood of offending someone. though at work she wore her uniform, though due to her being a part of the star system branch was mostly a thin mechanical looking uniform that covered as little as possible. This was to leave as much movement capabilities as could be, and due to the fact that her uniform created a sort of kinetic barrier. She had her own patrol vehicle known as a ramjet. A special type of space-faring "car" that was meant for interplanetary chases and had the capability to safely jump three systems. She had the standard loadout, however, handcuffs, a sidearm, and a primary weapon. Land-based police had less in the terms of weapons as then generally did not deal with as much or as dangerous circumstances. Her weapon was a Y78 rifle, a four-round burst rifle loaded with electro rounds meant to incapacitate a suspect. Her sidearm was meant as a last resort as it held the killing power, her choice being an SS670 loaded with a special form of hollow-point magnesium rounds that ignited upon contact.
