This is the second sentient toon car that I've made now. :) Her name is Melody. Melody's is a classic VW Bug with a few minor modifications. Her headlights in particular tend to catch attention because of how different they are from a normal classic VW Bug. Melody is built a bit differently than your average Bug in that her fuel tank is slightly smaller in size. She does, however, have a fuel gauge (something classic VW Bugs didn't have until the 1960s). So her previous owner had her modified for convenience.
Melody was abandoned by her previous owner, but was later purchased by a girl named Alice Kurogane. Alice fixed up Melody, and while it took a few days before Melody finally opened up to Alice, the two have become very close. Melody now lives with Alice, and is enjoying a happy life with a caring owner. :)
Melody is both timid and very shy. Most of the time, she needs encouragement from Alice in order to speak to others. Once she has time to get to know someone, Melody opens up, revealing a shy but very sweet and friendly car. :) All you need to do is be patient and friendly to help her feel less shy.
Here's a bit of technical data fit those wondering about it:
Name: Melody
Plate No.: MELODY8
Top Speed: 80mph
Fuel Tank Capacity: 8 gallons
MPG: 20 to 22 miles per gallon
0-60: about 30 seconds

Yeah, they've always been one of my favorites, and if I could learn enough auto repair, would love to have a 1960s VW Bug. :) Classic VW Bugs are actually pretty abundant out where I live in California, so finding one to fix up wouldn't be too difficult. Of course, I neither have the mechanical know how, money, or driver's license that I would need to obtain one. :/ Maybe someday.
Heh, beyond raw age, VW maintenance was amazingly simple. If one can find a repair manual, there are very few parts, and lots of empty space on the pages devoted to parts breakdowns.... I even recall the tale of someone actually rebuilding the original engine on their kitchen table!
(This is all of course prior to the institution of any and all emissions standards... That made vehicles grossly complicated in the engine compartment with a lot of kenooter valves and yankee engineering to get that extra .002% less emissions at only $5000 on to the price of the car...)

I think it's pretty safe to say that they would get along well. :) In fact, I think it would really neat to see what two classic VW Bugs would talk about together. :) It'd be funny if they were talking about things that other cars or their owners do that secretly gets on their nerves XD.
Feel free to use her if you ever find yourself needing another Bug like Rose. :) That is, you need another VW Bug, you're welcome to convert Melody into an A.I. modify the body.

Well...I can't help but imagine her, not responding with naturally speaking, but does communicate in her own way : She's very melodic, musical, and ALL her sounds (honks, pops, misfires, sputters, backfires, and even "farts") are produced in a melodic way, and are reflective of her mood and state: If she's happy, the sounds are lighter, totally melodic and she "dances" in rhythm to it. If she's hurt/sad, however, her sounds are more deep, out of tune, and she stumbles more than she "dances".
