Frae and her friend and mentor, Umbria, stop by a bathhouse near the border of the empire to endulge in their last chance of luxuries before resuming their journey to Umbria's village where she hopes to see her family again after many years spent fighting in the colloseum.

The journey would have taken long enough by flight but as their wings had been clipped and bound so long to prevent them trying to escape they will have to travel by road for a while untill their wings get stronger again for flying. And since there won't be many settlements along the way there won't be much opportunity for comforts like a warm meal or a proper bath, they plan on endulging themselves to the fullest with every luxury the empire has to offer in this border town.
