It was a slow moving team of four artillery tanks, second world war models. They were guard by both armed trucks and soldiers. They just stood around on watch while the cannons opened fire on the base. Less than a mile out, Circuit, Sue Dan, and Foresight were all watching the group.
"I checked it out twice now." Sue said "We got about five trucks and each got gunmen around it and on it."
"I can handle the vehicles, but it could take some time." Circuit said "Foresight, You gotta cover me."
"Taking out some scum?" She smiled "Right up my alley." And she drew one of her judge pistols.
"Good, you both do that and I'll take out the footmen." She then drew her pistols "As soon as they see you, I'll rush in. Now go!"
Circuit ran out on the order, rifle ready as she made a run for the closes vehicle. Foresight followed closely behind her, it didn't take long the gunner of the truck to spot them. Circuit took the first shot, though, and he fell to the off the back of the truck. Men tried to move in on the two, but in a rush of wind and shots from what seemed like the air itself, they were self flying back like rag dolls. The other trucks started up and drove straight for them; even after the gunners fell dead they kept going.
Circuit Noticed it and stopped and raised her had at the first truck she saw. She clenched her fist and the truck blew up in flames. Every truck had a bomb in it; these troops were ready to fight to the death. did the same with other trucks as she worked her way tot he artillery tanks.
Foresight kept by her, shooting off rounds at men in sight, and then the men just coming around corners of cover. The only time she wouldn't shoot was when she was reloading, but by then Either Circuit had her rifle ready, or Sue was coming by to take the out. The only exception was when the gun was empty and someone came running out of one of the tanks. She drew her second pistol and shot him with less than a second do take aim.
Circuit touched the first tank and it start shutting down, and as she ran for the next gun.
Foresight just readied to kill the driver when he came out. "This is easy," She smiled "Can't wait for the next one."
Circuit shut down another tank and then pulled out the driver. She died him up and then turned her communicator on. "This is Circuit Grit. Artillery, neutralized." Then the last two tanks blew up, spewing flames. "What are our orders?"
"Move in toward the gate." Firefight responded "You've covered the exit, now we'll box them in."
