Crash Dive is at a deep lake, doing her usual salvage work and invited her friend Minty Candy along for the dive. For his safety, she got him a spare diving suit with a built-in floation safety cord. One pull, and he'll safely float to the surface. Minty did give a though of pulling it straight away, but a Crash mentioned work first.
As they they descended into the lake's depth, they walked across a patch of Tangleweed. These plants are know to wrap around anything that goes through them, and Crash proceeded with caution. Minty (with all his curiosity) decided to approach the patch. Not long, the vegetation started to coil around his body, one such leave finding the pull cord of the suit. In a panic, Minty tried to retreat, but the cord was wanked and the weeds clung tight.
In a moment, the suit did as design. The gases expanded inside the suit, applying pressure around him as the suit inflates around him. The weeds grip tightens as the suit grows and pulls upward to the surface. Crash Dive attempt everything she could to pull him free, but she now needs to leave him to go grab a knife to cut him free. With all the pressure building around Minty, he couldn't focus on his words and just realizing his predicament as Crash left him there, trapped and inflating.
