In the overlord universe Nicky's background is a bit different, though she has never known her father either and has trouble trying to fit in. rather than spending time on the streets her adoptive uncle has gotten her a job at the overlord's lair, though in her off duty time she gets rather restless and tends to let her temper flare up at times. So one day as she's sent to the abbey on an errand she meets father Mella who takes some time to listen to her, and since then Nicky drops by from time to time to seek some advice and have someone to talk to who won't judge her.
