Josh's ball python all curled up on top of mine (of which you can see the nose of back there) :) I figure it might be good for them to at least have each other as company for a little while until they've settled in.

Got a name for them both yet? Are you keeping them separately soon? How come? Do they eat each other like king snakes do? (I only have knowledge about kingsnakes XD) How can you tell the difference between them both? How much did they cost? Can we see your set up? I love viv pictures for inspiration XP Sooo many questionsssss
I love the rainbowness of these snakes, and great photo - I love close-ups <3

They can be kept together but it's not something I'd prefer to do since it'll make it harder to keep track of their sheds and eating schedules. I would imagine anyway :o
Josh's (this one) has a longer tan stripe on its tail, whereas mine is very broken up. Same with the tank streak directly behind their heads; mine is shorter and more broken up. :3 I'll try and get comparison pictures at some point.
Not sure of their sexes yet, but I'm hoping mine is female. The males tend to only get to 4-5' while the females can get another foot or two longer than that. They were $40 each. They're very common snakes, in fact the most common pet snakes in America. But I've wanted one for so many years, I love their rounded heads and fat stubby bodies. :D They're also super sociable. But apparently hard to feed. :c The girl who let me hold them at the pet store said to feed live mice at first and I felt myself get hot all over XD I tried my damnedest to not start an argument with her. I do NOT agree with live feeding and I have had many professional breeders tell me that ANY snake will take frozen if you go about it the right way.
Oh and I'll try and get a picture of their tank once it's better set up XD Right now their water dish is one of my casserole dishes! Getting a better suited one probably today or tomorrow XD

That's weird! I got a male milksnake because they're apparently bigger than the females...I wonder why it's different between the breeds...Or maybe I got it wrong lol! And tell me about it, Seth has always been a problem feeder (sometimes not eating for four months), but I know he'd not get on very well with live because he doesn't even constrict or strike! Not to mention live feeding is illegal in the UK :o
