My very first snake. We had an extra 3 ft. long tank with no critters in it, so I couldn't resist getting this little guy. My fella got one as well. They're in a tank together for now, I know that's not good so we'll be getting another one ASAP. I still have the free 4 ft. tank for the red tail boa I'm hoping to get soon (lotta things have put it off, but I'm still hoping.) I wasn't able to get a lot of good pictures of them yet, because I set up their tank as soon as I got home and plan on leaving them alone for a little while until they've settled in and know that this is their home now. :)
I think Josh is naming his Longbone. I'm still not sure what to name mine yet. They're both very easy to distinguish from each other, as mine has shades of pink near the underbelly, and a different pattern on the tail and behind the head.
They're just such little angels. ;.; I have always adored snakes, I'm so proud to finally be the owner of one after years of studying up on them and finally feeling prepared. I keep peeking in on them to make sure they're doing okay lol. I am dying to handle them more but I know we shouldn't yet ;;

Ffff, omg, so cute. I love my ball so much, they are really the best snakes. Crowley is so much more laid back than my three corn snakes, and I really love just hanging out with him. I hope you enjoy them. 8D The patterns on normal ball pythons just get better with age, yours should turn out pretty awesome. x3
fyi any kind of pinkish coloring on a snake is subject to change
especially on bcc/bci species
i have seen numerous dealers try to push a common boa on it's "unproven salmon pink-like color"
knowing full well this was only a temporary state due to an imminent shed
on another note, baby balls are very picky eaters, unless you are feeding live you might have some time getting it to take prey
turn over on hatchling P. regius is high, much more finicky than rat snakes or boas
but with that in mind, these scaly things are addictive, i bet you have several doubling your power bill in no time

Ball pythons are gorgeous <3 Especially babies. How does s/he feed? We had problems with about 90% of the balls in work DX I know they're notoriously bad eaters >: I hope your little snake is good, though :D I can't wait to get my first snake, I want a corn or rat of some sort <3
