This is the first song I've written since the great computer incident of June. I worked on this over a few days, thanks to being able to save a MIDI file and then re-open it and fuck with it. In particular, I'm fond of the big drum effects in the intro and the melody section which I figured was too good to simply abandon as a sub-1 minuet piece. I also like how punchy the Simmonds are for more rapid bass drumming affairs.

Thank you! In both regards, the reaction is as intended. A lot of my works take modern social issues, make them super dark, abstract and exaggerated, and then apply a sci-fi theme to them. The melody I was very happy with, it was certainly good enough that I didn't just want to throw it away into the "unfinished ideas" pit.
