According to Arbor, Exodus is an angsty teen going through a phase. X doesn't appreciate this and insists that Arbor underestimates him. X feels largely misunderstood and spends a lot of time angry. He's very much focused on trying to make himself appear 'cool' and 'edgy,' even though no one really takes him serious. He likes to pretend that he'd rather be a loner and doesn't care about anyone and is just there for the money, but he secretly enjoys the company of both Arbor and the Tuulimede and wouldn't change it if he had the option to. He can be incredibly moody at times without a whole lot of rhyme or reason.

Exodus insists on being called simply, 'X.' Most of the Tuulimede do as he's asked, but Arbor insists on calling him Exodus still, much to his displeasure.
