So the past couples of weeks have been very very hectic for me, and on top of rarely having time to myself to do art I've also been very unhappy with where I'm at with my art. Style, coloring, shading...everything is just...I dunno, I just know I can do better for as long as I've been drawing. So, I've been thinking of ways to start improving, and I decided to start with shading. I want my art to have a bit more of a real life look to them instead of the usual flat looking pieces I've been doing, so I put a bit more effort into shading for this particular piece. Ugggh, I dunno...even now I see mistakes that I could have noticed earlier but failed to do so. *sigh* Maybe someday I'll get this right.

In case you're wondering what character is being cosplayed, its the Black Magician Girl from the Yu-Gi-Oh series; always been a personal favorite of mine and I hope to actually obtain the cosplay costume some day. I also finally decided on a watermark, which will be put on all my pieces from now on. I mean, my art isn't the greatest, but I still don't want to give potential thieves the chance.

And as a side note to Scorp, I promise the next piece I submit will be yours, and I'm so so sorry for making you wait. I really do appreciate your patience through this rut I've been in lately. :[
