I'm loving the sci-fi stuff! I'm curious to know how it is you're studying and what you're doing to help you make up these study sketches since I'm going to be studying sci-fi this year.

Maybe a minor nitpick for the perspective? on the far end of the dock/pier, it looks like it's, I dunno, say 50m/150 feet above water level, but right below the spaceship in the foreground it looks like it's significantly higher up?

It's not a problem per se, but if the dock/pier is the same height the perspective might need a bit of work, and if it is rising/getting higher, maybe some kind of indication of that would be useful? Like making it so that the far end of the dock/pier slowly gets closer to the water, to make it more obvious it's like a ramp? That might be the easiest fix.
