The slight brown color on the tiles are the shadow, and the orangey color on the tiles is the reflective light - I wanted to do it in a sort of perspective like someone was laying on the floor with a flashlight looking up at this monster walking towards them and like the face is the only thing that's engrained in their mind. It probably doesn't come across that way though. (So the actual shadow would be behind them I guess?)

I haven't done anything like this in a long time, but I hope to play with scenery and lighting more in the future to make things more clear. This was mainly a design and concept effort for the species, I guess. But them just standing there seemed.... really unthreatening and boring. So I tried something new!
