Fiasco is weird to me, because you're kind of... coming up with the entire story as you go along, so unless everyone is on the ball it gets weird.
In D&D it's the DM that's running the story, you're just playing in their world. The roleplay is primarily interacting with the other players and interacting with the world around you. The only thing you're responsible for is your own character.
