Pencil Sketch: The Phantom Fox
(IF THE IMAGE IS TOO BIG TO FULLY VIEW ON SCREEN: just click/tap it to view it and it should work.)
A sketch of my most simplistic yet most interesting character, The Phantom Fox. The main protagonist and considerably a superhero of my unique world of anthro characters; Mythic Eternity.
His backstory is tragic and complicated, but long story short he was a wolf anthro who was transformed into a cybernetic super weapon. With his bones & guts permanently encased in a charcoal-black metallic shell that bares the persona of a fox, he essentially fights "batman style" as he hides among society and only understood by his team of friends, who are just as much as monsters and misfits as he is.
A majority of his deepest (and I mean DEEPEST) inspirations are rather personal, but that's what makes him so fun to draw. There's just something so magical about having OCs that are based on such a meaningful part of you.
Though there's no color in this sketch, he's mostly just shiny pitch black with a little bit of faint glowing blue, so I'm pretty sure you get the idea.
1 of 7 pencil sketches I made in a brand new sketch book I got while on vacation a few months ago. It took me forever to optimize my new phone for importing the original photo to my pc for cropping & editing. It's a bit late.
Character belongs to me.
