As Rodent gazes in disbelief at the assortment of creatures, one of them gives the rat a nice, gaping view of its maw and gullet. Despite his initial alarm, Rodent seems to find this somewhat seductive; actually getting a bit excited at the thought of being swallowed up alive by one of these monsters. Dr. Cailin seems to note these desires within the rat and begins to get some ideas of his own.
