Photography is a lot like drawing in that it's 45% about framing the subject. It's also 45% about squeezing (NOT clicking) the shutter button at just the right time, (which, come to think of it, is also about framing in a way); choose slow-moving subjects at first. Another 8% is technical stuff that I could teach you in an hour. The last 2% is special effects that you'd only need once in a while and could probably add later in Photoshop anyway.

I do a lot of photography, I have a huge collection of slides. Did you want pics of anything in specific? Sadly I don't have a slide scanner to turn them into digital images. =/
