It's been a long while since I've shown off anything from the "Sins of the Metropolis" record, and last time I did the consensus was very positive. So here we are once again. This is the opening "song" of the record, the first track is a scene-setting synthesizer piece. It's possible they'll fade into one another in the end, but for now, here is the next track as a stand-alone piece.

In the concept line, this one is about the protagonist in a kind of pursuit through the city, and from 1:10 onwards, they have escaped and are back in hiding, with a slower reprise of the songs previous themes to illustrate looking out over the city and realising, while they escaped for now, that escape may not last...
