Hey. This is a piece of lineart done for me some time ago by Zee-Rage-Man (http://zee-rage-man.deviantart.com/) that I was given permission to color. The guy's absolutely amazing, as an artist and a person. Check out his stuff. It's worth it.

A lot of folks like to say that their little ones are special. They like to say that, because their kids manage to do some of the simplest things-brush their teeth, tie their shoes, use the toilet-they could do anything, save the world, even!
Trust me, True-Believers...they're wrong.
To put it simply, some kids are a lot more special...super, even...
The tyke on the left, is mild-mannered three-and-a-half-year-old Doreen Green. By daytime, she's your average kid making her way through the tumultious trials of preschool (and still trying to make it to the potty at least 3/5 times a day...to varying levels of success). She's a bit better-behaved than her peers, but that's not to say she doesn't get into a scruff every once in a while. By naptime, however, she becomes the Unbeatable Squirrel Tot! A tot, with the agility and approximate strength of a squirrel, in addition to the ability to allegedly speak squirrel....if the tail isn't a dead giveaway (let me put it this way, the reason her teeth are like that isn't because her parents kept her on the bottle for too long...). With her faithful "sidekick" Tippy-Toe at her side, she's all for kicking butts and eating nuts. A LOT of nuts.
Suddenly, it's not hard to infer why she's having such a hard time with the potty....
The tot on the right is not-quite-as-mild-mannered Kamala Kahn. One-year-old and full of energy (not hindered by the fact she happens to go to a daycare full of kids with 'special' things about them like her), she's heard everything from here to Timbuktu about the bigger kids in her neighborhood, and much like the warm milk of a mother, she's lapping it all up. By day, she's a baby who's more interested in 'writing' stories about the big kids. By...any other time, she's Baby Marvel, a little one with the ability to stretch, grow, shrink, and potentially heal herself if need-be. Only downside is that she tends to expel a lot of energy by using these powers...you know what I mean.
Why bring these two up? Well, the SHIELD daycare DOES have a preschool program for gifted youngsters....
