One thing I see often is people just nabbing the Gmod models for animation/posing shenanagins, yet that comes with its own problems if you want to take that further. Most of those models are very low poly, and require so much work to refine you are better off just using that as a base reference and starting from scratch. Plus you can end up putting your own spin on it like shown.
