You probably could if you didn't tell yourself you couldn't.

Trust me i have tried. I even bought a Wacom Tablet to practice over and over again.

My final conclusion was that i simply am not a traditional hand drawing artist. And i DID practice a LOT.

That is why i have a very highly profound respect for artists like you, in all honesty. It really does make me jealous, but i have tried.

How long though? It generally takes years of hard work to improve.

I tried for months. After that long, i should have seen SOME general improvement. However.. I did get further than i ever thought possible. I DID manage to draw, but i think i convinced myself to give up. You do need to understand that i am NOT proud of giving up but.. I just could not figure a lot of things out. I got overwhelmed by all these rules and what not that i kept running into. Everything seemed to over complicate its self more and more. (Ironic of me to say that, considering i am a 3d artist..)

So i admittedly gave up as well. I have to focus on where my talents lay, not where i struggle. Ya know?

I guess, but my experience with art has been that you will always struggle with things regardless of how good you get at it or how long you do it. But if your heart's not in it then that's it really.

Thats quite true. And, my whole thing was that i needed to focus on my strengths. Drawing is especially difficult for me due to visionary issues, but 3d art is much less so.
