Growing up I was quite the daydreamer. In fact if my nose wasn't in a book my head was off in the clouds which probably shouldn't come as a shock to anyone who knows me. Well my Grandpaw, who always seemed to have both feet on the ground, used to enjoy snapping me back to reality with "Looks like your mind slipped sideways there!" which always sounded much more fun then simply "Zoning out". It’s a term I still enjoy using today and make it a point to "Slip sideways" at least 3 times before breakfast. After all, imagination is the only weapon we have against the terror of reality.
