As Tangled Taffy made her way towards the lunatic lights of the carnival knew she should feel bad about what happened, perhaps even a little terrified but she simply couldn't imagine why. It hadn't been that long ago that she had been a tragically normal girl rushing home to grab her costume before heading out to the big Halloween party. That's when those mean girls cornered her and tore up her ticket, spewing cruelties of every kind at her. They would have done the same to the costume she had been working on for months, but unfortunately for them the costume had other ideas. Suddenly taking on a life of its own, it wrenched itself free from their grasp as a snake-like tail that Taffy would have swore had never been part of the design reared up like an angry cobra. Before anyone had a chance to react, the tail struck gobbling up the screaming girls whole, one by one.

Taffy thought for sure she would be next but instead the costume simply unzipped itself and beckoned her inside. As she blinked her new plastic eyes and felt her twisted tail shift and wiggle behind her, Taffy realized two things one this wasn't a costume anymore and two she wasn't human anymore. Somehow that felt like it should have been a lot more scary then it was, but somehow it just didn't seem to bother her as she skipped down the dirt path to the carnival gates. Wait wasn't there a party she was supposed to attend? Oh who cares about some silly party, the carnival was in town! Her lips curled with fiendish glee as Taffy began to realize she had no idea what was going on and she didn't care, this was the start of something fun...
