*Ding Dong*
Chudlight: "That must be Cody. Mahler, can you get that?"
Mahler: "Yeah, yeah.....ya lazy yote...."
*Opens the door*
Mahler: "Welcome to your new..."
Mahler's welcome gets interrupted by two things: first was seeing a....is that?....is that a fursuit head on his luggage? Second was a flurry of red jackal flinging himself into a fwamping hug mid sentance.
Cody: "You're even cuter than your Furbook pic!"
Mahler: "...home..."
They'd only received word recently that they'd be getting a new housemate and were thrilled to meet him. Admittedly, having a house with a coyote and a husky was already kinda chaotic, but they figured they'd forego the "Jackal Stereotype" until they met Cody. For Mahler, the realization that maybe...just maybe... the impulsive, trickster, and slightly crazy jackal stereotype is correct hit him a little less like a ton of bricks, and more like....well... about 65kg of jackal.
