Gun Porn, Keltec PMR-30
FINALLY, FINALLY actually got in some trigger time at the range today after roughly 3 plus years of inactivity.
I took just handguns this time and this time got to test drive this lil hotrod. The KelTec PMR-30 in .22 magnum. 30 round magazine, gun feels like its made of paper mache, its so light. Only had 50 rounds for it so 25 rounds per mag (One so
pook could try it as well).
I literally 'brapped' the mag in a few seconds, and pleased how accurate it is. I wouldn't want to carry this as a defense weapon, outside of signing my name in their chest cavity, then again, at close range a .22 magnum packs a nasty punch.

It's an internet meme. http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/delet-this
I have it on good authority that a .22 Win Mag is best used for head shots. Even if you only hit the perp in the neck...
I've got an original Automag, before AMT screwed them up so awfully. Bad in that they are ammo-sensitive, good in that with the right ammo, it's an insane fun gun.

Definitely a must have if you like compact carbines and don't mind pistol calibres. Had my gen 1 for years as my car gun. Quite the handy gigit. Wound up giving it to me sister and brother in law as a home defence carbine. Definitely a worthwhile buy if you get your hands on one mate. ^.-.^
I can unabashadly say that the sub2k is a fantastic little gun. Actually need to get mine sent in for service, the multiple moves between un-air-conditioned apartments during/after college have not been kind to it.
The original one has an issue with the sights being SUPER low, if you have a tall head it's a massive pain to get your eye low enough to aim properly, though I think the Gen2 ones fixed this issue. It's also on the short side without the stock extension, but that's manageable.
I'm a ways off of local these days, but next time I'm out that way I wouldn't be averse to some show and tell with it. Fun, capable little gun, particularly fed from the SMG mags mine gets.

Yeah, wound up switching schools out to UW Platteville, and then off to work full time. Plus I'm generally kinda bad at keeping in touch. Sorry I fell off the face of the planet slightly! Yep, I've still got it, passed the .22lr on to my dad and picked up a ruger 10/22 for myself, but I've still got everything else.
