Made this song because:

Self-authorship is a power we all have. Furry in a lot of ways is self-actualization on a sort of spiritual/self-perceptive level, and the reason I got into the fandom was that it was a place where my self expression was only limited by my imagination.

> I recently ended a toxic relationship with a gal who, while I loved, was slightly toxic. She was very much a 'this is how things are' gal. She disliked my voice work, didn't understand why I like to probe and think as much as I do (and outright said "I don't care" at one point), and refused to recognize my needs as an individual.

She wasn't a bad person, in fact there are many qualities about that person that I adore. The sting of not being together anymore still lingers, but it was a change that was desperately needed, and I'm already starting to see that things will work out for the better.

Positivity and happiness require participation, and to will happiness into being. With that being said, it's empowering to know that one's outlook can be so influential, and it's determined by what others say or demand.
