If she looks familiar, that might be because you've seen my other pic featuring her (right here just in case: http://fav.me/db5uhuq ).
Anyway, here's the titular woman in her boxing gear.
Who knows, I might just feature her in a few other pics.
Calquetta © me I guess
Here's some additional info on what exactly Calquetta is, in case you were wondering.
So, Calquetta is a Sprit... (I couldn't come up with a better name)
Sprits are classified as Magical creatures, that is, beings that require magical forces to sustain life. In this case, Sprits need it due to being made of the stuff.
On Calquetta specifically, the blue parts of her are made of the magical force stuff, or mana I guess
They can be thought of as Magical Balloons, so to speak, as they have an outer membrane made of various materials, with Magical force stuff/mana being the most abundant, that is filled with a gaseous form of that mana stuff.
This membrane forms around a metal shape that determines what the sprit will look like when it's "born"; more on that later.
As the Sprit is "born," the metal mass within them expands and permeates through the developing membrane, creating the metal clothing that you see Calquetta and other sprits wearing.
Now for the actual "birthing."
Even though a Sprit birth has never actually been witnessed, only emergences, there are theories as to what exactly happens.
The most prevalent of them is that each Sprit begins as a metal sphere that separates from the planet's core, building up materials as it is pushed upwards to the surface by magical forces and stuff.
As it gets closer to the surface, the sphere expands, creating the aforementioned metal mass/shape.
This is where the previously mentioned Emergences happen.
Exactly how much time is in between the metal becoming external and the sprit emerging from the ground is unknown.
However, many believe that it can be up to 5 years, as when sprits emerge, they have the appearance of a young child, or something of the sort.
Sprits age similarly to Humans, in that they need long periods of time to actually mature.
One key difference however is that both mental and physical aging happens half as fast as it does in humans, meaning that if a sprit appears, by human standards, to be 15, they would be 30 in actuality.
Another mystery of the Sprits is their dimorphic properties; specifically: the fact that they appear as both male and female.
It's unknown exactly why and/or how this is possible given that they have no reason to be sexually dimorphic, so to speak, as there appears to be no difference between the two forms, biologically, or mentally.
The only noticeable difference are the features associated with the female and male genders in humans, that is, breasts and wide hips in females, and... Not that in males (idk how best to describe it.)
They do ,however, seem to have a concept of sex, even though they don't reproduce sexually (take what you will from that)
If ,for whatever reason, you would need to kill a Sprit, the best way to do so would be to pierce and/or smash their metal armaments, as that is where their membranes are weakest, and are most susceptible to leak.
Do not think they can be killed easily however, as each sprit has the ability to reform their Armaments into various weapons, like swords, maces, claws, and the like.
Even if you can kill them, you would need to be careful immediately following the death as they have extremely high internal temperatures, which means that the mana gas within them will shoot out as steam, incredibly hot steam. So that could also kill you.
