This pic was challenging in a lot of ways - but I am overall very pleased with the result. Jae is such a treat to draw. Not only because mechanic arm is amazing, but because he just has an aura of chill that always gets me trapped in the canvas.
Thank you for letting me draw him again <3 he's such a treat-Palavenmoons was kind enough to put up with me again and make a little saucy thing for my boy, Jae. Not that a workaholic engineer with commitment and fire issues can be all that seductive, but he can try, damn it. The little headcanon thing I had for this was Val's pin-up pic I had done a while ago was actually for a calendar, something Jae discovered soon after they met. In a bizarre attempt at flirting, he called a photographer that he knew through work (and had repaired his gear a few times), and tried to give Val something similar. Maybe I'll get around to writing her reaction, who knows! Considering the Valentine's one is still a five page draft buried in my folders... Anyway, Palavenmoons KILLED it with this one, correcting me a few times to make the piece better. I wasn't quite sold from-above POV or him wearing a shirt at all, but she made it better than anything I could've thought of on my own. She's a godsend, I swear.
