It looks like it was heading in a very neat direction. I'm not quite sure what that thing that's in the air is, but the details in the tree are great. I also like the bits of crosshatching you started adding on the fence in the foreground. It's a real treat to see traditional inkwork online.

i'd love to see a comic by you, go for it, even if you think the first tries comes out excessively crude, they cant get worse than the first strips of my comic, after all...
