Smoke: Eh muther's day never saw da point ta it.

Nina: *smiles and hugs him* Well I guess it depends on you're personal feelings... *winks to her mom*

Mrs. Ninten: *smiles and suddenly gives Smoke a hug*

Smoke: Shrugs of Mrs. Ninten* I ain't got no personal feelings fer dis day I Hate IT!

Mrs. Ninten: Oh I know dear, I could figure that out just by looking. *smiles* But then I know she was just asking me to distract you long enough for her to get a surprise ready for you down you at the studio to try and cheer you up. *smirks and gives him a wink* Have fun.

Smoke: Hrrpm I ain't in da mood fer fun taday Mrs. Ninten.

Mrs. Ninten: *sighs* I know, but Nina doesn't like seeing people she cares about sad. most of all the mon she loves, so I couldn't stop her even if I tried...

Smoke:*Doesn't seem to have heard Mrs. Ninten* She's always butting in wit no thought, she never tinks about me!! She doesn't care I know she don't! Why does she keep doing dis to me! Why can't she jus leave me alone!

Mrs. Ninten: ........ I sincerly hope we're not talking about my daughter anymore

Smoke: What eh no.. I er I just had ta meet wit my paw and his lawyers. It always puts me inta a mood Sorry.

Mrs. Ninten: *pats Smoke on the shoulder* It's perfectly alright, I think I can understand. Anyway, if you even need someone to talk to...

Smoke: It just dat, me mom is sueing fer custody, She never cared about me before all she wants is ta hurt my paw, and she using me ta do it and ders noting I can do about it.

Mrs. Ninten: *thinks for a moment* ..... you know... I might be able to help you with that, well maybe...

Smoke: No Youse can't. She doesn't ever stop! She don't care about nobody but herself. All she is jealous dat my Paw and me have it so good now! She don't love me she never did! She didn't wait fer me ta hatch jus tossed me and paw aside when he lost his fighter contract! *Steaming tears appear*

Mrs. Ninten: *suddenly pulls Smoke into a hug as she tries to calm him down* Well that's her problem if she threw away what would have been the best thing that ever happened to her. You still have the people who do care about you and want to help, don't you? So stop crying please.

Smoke: Ey whut tears I ain't crying I don't need nose help wit dis. I dun know why I wus talking to youse. I .. I Just need some personal time dats all! I knows how ta handle er if she come near me She is gunna get smoked! BAD!

Mrs. Ninten: .............. *finally speaks her voice oddly unemotional and even* Smoke, would you mind if I tell you something that I'm quite sure not even Nina remembers?

Mrs. Ninten: I'd only met them before when they threatened to and finally disowned my husband from the family at our wedding. They welcomed us back with open arms after Nina was born but when they didn't like how we were raising her they came after us. All they wanted was to mold Nina into what they though a "Proper" daughter of the family should be, ether way it's caused by stupidity and greed on there parts. *sighs* Back then I felt the same way, that I'd handle it myself. I'd show them I was a good mom and they wouldn't kick me around like that... that they wouldn't treat my little Nina like some kind of object...

Mrs. Ninten: *shakes her head* No... I wasn't the one that beat them, in fact the way it was going I would have ended up loosing my daugther and a lot more then that... it wasn't until my husband stepped in, having managed to get some help for some distant family members, that we actually won...



Mrs. Ninten: *actually chuckles a little* One way or another the Ninten family has been involved with the law and lawyers, be it on right or wrong side of them, so you can find members who know a loophole or clause to just about every kind of case out there if you look long and hard enough through the family tre. *becomes serious again* While I was playing into the hands of those creeps my honey was going over the case and all the evidence as well as contacting any family member that would help trying to find a loophole. *manages to smile* In the end he not only managed to get the case dismissed but he also managed to make sure they couldn't simply try to disown us again. *sighs* Look... I'm not saying you can't do this on your own, but my little girl loves you and that's enough to make you family to me already. So if you ever need any help...

Smoke: Un lees youse can get..her ta leave me alone and stop er from trying to bleed me old mon dry fer money den I don't wanna hear anyting more. I'm tired of her always popping up in me life and hurting me and paw. I'm gonna show her just what I tink about her if she ever come near me again and dats dat!! Smoke*walks off*

Ms. Ninten: *watches him go* I guess I'll just have to see what I can do... *sighs*

... hope Smoke knows that Nina learned most of her tricks from her mommy dearest... so if she says she'll "have to see what she can do" thne he best expecte results of some kind from her.
