Analie washed herself off behind some boxes with Copleand, and Torrent and Ash kept an eye on the children. The water only went so far, and the food lasted even less. Circuit would look at her phone from time to time. checking for updates.
"Could you reach the cops?" Copleand asked her a fourth time, but this time Analie nodded back to her "Are they on their way?"
Analie held the phone to her.
"Help is on the way," The helpline chirped out from the phone "Firefighters and paramedics should arrive soon."
"Be careful!" Copeleand snatched the phone from Analie. "There was a water spill, and the stuff is highly radio active. Don't have them touch the water."
"I don't understand, I heard the powerplant was condemned." he replied
"It is, but I don't think it was shut down properly, there's gonna be atomic water all over the place. You need to be careful, extra careful."
"Understood." he said back "It'll take more time, but we'll reach you."
"Thank you." Copleand said "Look for us on the lower leverls, we found a safe room to hide in." she then snapped the phone shut can shouted out "They're on their way!"
Ash relayed it to the other children, that rescue was on the way, and they all cheered and some even danced with delight.



A few hours more and they were all outside being checked on by the fire department and paramedics.
one of the paramedics walked up to them. "Are you the ones that called in?"
Analie nodded to her, and the lady instantly looked away from her blushing, "um... come this way, and we'll handle the rest."
They followed her to one of the four ambulances, but ash looked back at the kids.
The little ones were all scared by these people still, hiding behind one onother from them, and people would try to pull them apart for examinations.
Those scared faces the kids gave Ash before returned to her memories as they walked away
The four were set in an ambulance and given blankets to the two of them that lost their clothes.
"What a hell of a night." Copleand said "Atleast now we can make our leave. Hit it, Ana." And the ambulance started up.
"Wait, we can't go!" Ash said. remember last time we left these kids in their care? We can't let that happen again."
"She's right, we should find a way to stay here." Torrent added and looked outside "Besides, they still seem scared out all these strangers."
"But if we stay we could get in worse trouble." Copeland said and pointed to herself "Convict, hello. AND we're all vigilantes. If they know who we are it's off to the slammer for us. Do we wanna risk our lives for what may not be worth it?" They all paused and would look to eachother, they'd look outside at the kids again too. "Girls?"
