He is in my town's local paper, in any case. The newspaper article is exactly how it appears, save for me editing out my real name under the "Pet Owner" section.

The story behind this is my dog won the "Pet of the Month" contest from the vet's office and the staff asked me to submit a photo of him, plus the little descriptions that appear in the article.

So, I was all like, "Sure, I can do that."

After all, the vet's office was kind enough to include a 'doggie gift basket' as his prize for winning. The original photos I submitted of him came out blurry on their computers, so I was asked to bring him into the office so that another image could be taken of him.

He kept looking away from the camera, so I had to sorta force his head still. Thus, my hand placement and why it looks (to me anyway,) like I'm strangling the dog. (I wasn't.)

Also, under the "he tried to find love with a stray cat" - - they replaced what I had wrote, which was "hump a stray cat."

Not everything I wrote got in. Which is fine. At least some of it did. And this is technically my first published article. (Outside of my furry stories, of course.)

Sure, someone else put it all together, but I'm the one that provided the details the paper required. ^^
