I imagine Marzipan and Luna's friendship beginning as two lonely kids who shared the love for the freedom from the same sport. They have really different personalities, but even when they grew up they kept meeting for training (bc that's what Marzi does basically 24/7) but also sharing personal stories and secrets, what made their bond grow stronger. Marzipan have almost no friends because of her cold and introverted attitude, she in fact likes being alone, but also feels lonely a lot of the time. Actually the only people Marzi considers her truly friends, who she trusts are her brother and Luna.
