Vector Icons Oct 3,2016

The theme i went with is the four elements. When i first started this project, i was excited. but then figuring out the pen tool shaping was a real mind baffler to align vector lines together from one line to another. and then engaging the fill option to have the lines a vector color to blend with the fill color that goes perfectly with the vector line art. i see jagged lines in the process of trying to make it perfect. i felt it was the least favorite tool i had to work with. But i simply draw by mouse pad for this assignment, a justified fault. so I checked out the free form pen tool i think it handles perfectly in drawing the vector line art and filling in the shapes. but positioning vector line anchors was another snag i hit. I went with simplifying approach and a few touch ups, i hope to work on this more. In closing, its not a good or bad assignment just average in my opinion. The process I use with this assignment was using the pen tool, then change to using the freeform pen tool to create the vector art. Then add some FX layers to touch up each icon. All uses the bevel embross to help add stylized dept to the icons The elements above listed from a gust of Wind, a green plain of Earh, a wave of Water, and a amble of Fire.
