The silence was all encompassing as the announcer waited a few seconds for dramatic effect. He'd just announced those who were nominated for the award. Those few seconds felt a lot longer as the named parties listened to the sound of their own heartbeats in anticipation "...Sakura Asakura!!!" shouted the lion on stage after followed by a loud cheer and applause from the audience as the twin tailed vixen began to make her way up to the stage to receive the award. She was in tears when the statue was handed to her. She couldn't believe she'd won.
Sakura is a professional pianist and sometimes does win the occasional award for her work. It always surprises and humbles her that people like her music that much.
