Being one of the Rangers of the Wolfwood National Park is a tough job. Nina has to hike constantly and keep a sharp eye out for anything that might threaten the landscape or it's inhabitants both plant and animal. But as hard as it can be, she is also offered the chance to see some beautiful sights that we as a society all to quickly forget are there. Living in the big city, lights at night cast a glow that dims what we can see in the night sky. This is called "Light Pollution", but in the park there are no lights other than that of the moon, and no big buildings to get in the way. Nina is being treated here to a gorgeous view of the night sky and the thousands of stars that dot it. She considers it one of the perks of her job. Even when the winter won't let up it's grasp just yet. The snow won't keep her from enjoying it.

Nina: I've always loved nature, the outdoors, and wildlife. So against my parents wishes I decided to go into a field that would bring me close to all of those things. They were against it because of my good grades. They said that I should use my smarts to get into a higher paying job. But they just didn't understand that it's not about the money. They gave up on convincing me when I went to college, and the began to focus on my little sister. I just wish I had kept in contact with her more. Maybe the pressure wouldn't have gotten to her...She...Well lets just say she couldn't take it and took the...only way out she could see...
I don't think she would hate you and I think she would be proud of you for following your dreams. In the end, there was probably not a lot you could have done and I'd say don't blame yourself for it. It's easy to dwell on something like this, we all dwell on little things and many people do. It's natural. But remember that it's not your fault and your sister loved you Nina. Keep on following your dreams, being yourself and making her proud.
