I know i have to defend myself here a bit because lord knows i get shit for it, but mgs4 was my first introduction to the series, yes metal gear the 7 hour movie with 2 hours of game play. I enjoyed it a lot though, and it was my first stealth game if you don't count sly cooper, and i remember so clearly first seeing raiden, it was like watching kill bill for the first time all over again! I didn't care how ridiculous any of it was, it was fun and I wanted nothing more to know more about raiden, seeing a cyborg ninja come outta no where and tear up all the enemies you were just running like a bitch from was pretty god damn sweet! But there was no explination as to why he was a robot at all. I played mgs2, 3, a psp game, and 5 and most of it started with raiden, and then metal gear rising came out and I JUMPED on that thing so fast, I am not one of the hard core defenders that think rising deserved a 10/10, there were many issues and it could have been much better, but what was there was so cool, a shining gem in hack and slashers of creativity, and it was fucking FUN, raiden always brought a level of fun to the series that not many others could, and he does have a good character if you open your mind to it and look at his family and situation. Does he start off as a Sauske weeb emo bitch weirdo in 2? Ehhhh kinda, i see where you are coming from, but as soon as he became a cyborg i just adored everything about his ark from there and I will argue that all damn day.
Anyway, if you like this do tell, I am thinking about getting it colored but I wana see how the pic does first. And if you wana talk about you thoughts on the rant i just did, do share, I am open to talking about it.
