She was big doe of bald eagle lake, her eyes a magnificent dark brown and her pelt shined in the autumn sun. Over the years she would birth several fawns some would even be the dominant males. She was fast she was strong and she leaped through the meadow with a grace that would impress even the eagles that perched in the old aspen. But now she belongs to the earth her once gleaming pelt picked away her blood returned to the waters and her soul transcended to eternity and now all that remains of her physical form is her skull resting in the brush her hollowed empty eyes forever gazing upon the meadow where she was birthed.
