well from the end of 2013 till now, I didnt get the body work and painting done till now cause I couldnt find a place to DO it. There is like 30-40 "body" shops i my town, but alot of them are fly by night jobs OR ONLY work on insurance jobs. Meaning wrecks or damage done that insurance is set up to pay for only, not out of pocket.

I wanted to get somewhere I could at least get a recommendation from, but I dont know many local people who needed their car painted. My mechanic worked with or saw other people deal with alot of them and had bad experences with all of them. The only person they trusted had heart problems and way scaled back their work, meaning they were not an option. Finally my mom heard of some place, and we went over there and they said while they stopped doing that sort of thing, the could recommend a place. So we when to the 2nd place and they said they could do it and the body work for 2 thousand.

It seemed not a bad price compared to other prices I got some up to 10 thousand. So I took them up in it, with me doing a bit of the work taking off all the things like trim bumpers lights and the like. What I couldnt get off I got my mechanic to do.
